“True teachers use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross; the having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse the bridge, encouraging them to create a bridge of their own”

— Nikos Kazantzakis

Boxing has been widely recognised for its powerful impact on mental health. Driven by this belief, Greg and Cathy developed Boxology® Academy in 2016 to teach safe, effective boxing coaching rooted in both physical and psychological wellbeing. The programme has been successfully delivered across the UK for over five years.

Boxology® Academy equips coaches with in-depth technical knowledge, ensuring boxing is taught correctly, safely, and with the right mindset from the outset. Courses cover boxing technique, pad work, anatomy and physiology, mental training, injury prevention, joint health, and strength and conditioning.

Delivered through progressive modules (Round 1 and Round 2), Boxology® Academy is recognised by the British Boxing Board of Control and endorsed by Active IQ and CIMSPA. Graduates earn CPD points and are qualified to coach boxing one-to-one or in groups, supported by comprehensive online manuals and technical video resources.

Beyond the UK, Boxology® has delivered humanitarian coaching programmes, including a landmark charity course in a refugee camp in Iraq, training women affected by severe trauma and creating long-term, self-sustaining boxing coaches within the community. The programme continues to run weekly, supported by ongoing mentoring and digital resources.
